Programme

Day 1: BERLIN – DINNER

On arrival you will have time to spend at your leisure before dining at the hotel in the evening.

Day 2: CITY TOUR – BOAT – CAKE

Your day begins with a city tour of famous Berlin sights. The lively city centre is only a few minutes away from Treptower Park, the popular recreational area with its restaurant boats, beer gardens and sunbathing lawns directly on the Spree. From here you can enjoy a relaxing boat trip to Müggelsee with coffee & cake.

Day 3: GARDENS – CAPTAIN OF KÖPENICK

Today you will visit the Gardens of the World in the Marzahn recreation park, where you can admire garden culture from all over the world in nine themed gardens on a leisurely tour and cable car ride with 360-degree panoramic views. Afterwards you will travel to Köpenick. Here you can eat lunch whilst enjoying a view of the Dahme or Spree. Afterwards you will take a tour of the old town with the Hauptmanngarde following in the footsteps of the Hauptman of Köpenick. After a walk on the castle island you will return to the lively city centre.

Day 4: RADIO TOWER – PEACOCK ISLAND

Berlin has even more green spaces to offer! First you will drive to the Funkturm, the 150 m high landmark in former West Berlin. From the viewing platform you can enjoy a magnificent view over Berlin's forest - the Grunewald - all the way to the city centre. You continue along Havelchaussee, Grunewald, past the Olympic Stadium and old film studios to Wannsee. Here you will board the boat and take a trip along the Havel, Wannsee and Glienicke Bridge. Lunch will be taken in the historic Nikolskoe log cabin, an idyllically situated restaurant, and from here you will take the ferry to Peacock Island. The island is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and has served as the backdrop for Edgar Wallace films six times.

Day 5: JOURNEY HOME
